Over the course of many implementations we've developed software solutions to compliment Maximo.

InvGen - Contactor Invoice Generation and Validation for Maximo

Automated add-on for Maximo generates invoices for outside labor and validates them against contracts and other Maximo business rules. An emailed report of processing outcome can be sent to specified users. Invoices that cannot be validated and therefore not approved due to business rules (i.e. contract limit exceeded) will stay in an unapproved state until the issue is corrected (i.e. contract increased). After the issues preventing the invoice from being approved are addressed it can proceed with processing.

It can optionally sum lines by work order, filter for transactions to invoice, approve invoices on validation and send on to ERP system for payment. It is configurable and capable of multiple different schedule runs. It is also cluster enabled.

FTPHandler for Maximo

While web services is the preferred method of communications for state of the art systems, integration requires being able to communicate with external systems supporting different messaging methods. One popular legacy method of data transfer is the usage of the File Transfer Protocol (FTP). FTP is a network protocol used to exchange and manipulate files over a TCP computer network, such as the Internet. An FTP client may connect to an FTP server to manipulate files on that server. Our FTP Handler allows Maximo to transfer data via this method.
